The Vista: A Different Driving Experience
If you’ve been looking for a new car recently you will probably have heard about the Vista, which is a new generation hatchback that has been given a complete overhaul to make it one of a kind in terms of styling, technology, safety , design, comfort, and quality. The Vista is now unbelievably spacious, especially inside, at nearly 3.8 metres in length and 1.7 metres wide. The Vista has lots of storage spaces in the console and an unusually spacious glove compartment big enough for a laptop. What takes the driving experience to another level is the hydraulically actuated rack and pinion power steering system. The unique new suspension system isolates noise and vibration, giving you a superior ride and top-end handling quality. The fuel tank holds 44 litres and the Vista weighs between 1 030 and 1055 kg depending on the version you choose. All three models also have 5J x 14 steel rims, with 175/65 R 14 tyres. And there are no nasty surprises – a full size spare wheel is standard with all Vista models. If it’s driving safety you’re worried about, the Vista is the car for you. The Vista’s braking system has a vacuum assisted independent dual circuit system which is diagonally split. Disc brakes work in front and drums in the back – all adding up to better handling and safety to give you more confidence on the road. Even the parking brake is world class – it is a lever type system mounted in the console that acts on your rear brakes to make sure that you are parked safely and securely on even acute slopes.
And if all that is not enough to convince you, the Vista also has stringent practical safety features designed to meet European standards. All Vista models include an immobilizer, collapsible steering column, crumple zones for absorption in collisions, side impact bars and child safety lock on the back doors.
